Just 1 mile east and 3 miles south of Brock, Nebraska, you will find the beautiful and historic Coryell Park, which was first homesteaded by the LL Coryell family in 1867. Coryell Park now serves as a commemoration of the revered spirit, values, and determination of these early Nebraska settlers. Coryell Park offers a quiet and peaceful setting where much recreation can be enjoyed. With the always popular playground equipment, covered bridge, Parker Log Cabin, pavilion, and a shrine, you can choose between an afternoon of rest and relaxation or sight-seeing and activity. There is even a charming little chapel on-site, which can be reserved for special occasions such as weddings, and the Treasure House, which is filled with collectibles from the family. Coryell Park was even awarded the honor of one of the State's Hidden Treasures for 2011, so you will definitely want to put this stop on your itinerary!
